Costa Blanca holidays prove popular among Brits

Spain's Costa Blanca is still a highly popular summer destination for British holiday makers.

This is according to new figures from Skyscanner, which show that Alicante was the second most searched-for location for those using the site to look for flights in July.

Malaga came first in the rankings, with the list indicating that Spain shows no sign of falling in the UK's affections as a holiday hotspot.

Britons considering a flight to Alicante might want to stay in a nearby villa to escape the crowds and have a truly relaxing holiday.

It is possible to book a Costa Blanca villa holiday in locations such as La Marina, Villamartin and La Nucia, all of which are easily accessible from the airport in Alicante.

Upcoming events in the Costa Blanca region include the International Contemporary Music Festival between September 16th and 25th and the Moors and Christians Fiesta from October 2nd to 4th.
