Costa Blanca holidays offering 'good value'
People planning an overseas break over the coming months will find that breaks in Spain, such as Costa Blanca villa holidays, offer good value for money, according to a travel expert.
Frances Tuke, a spokeswoman for Abta - The Travel Association, said that several destinations across Europe represent good value at this time of the year, with the peak summer season yet to begin.
She revealed that Spain is becoming increasingly affordable for foreign visitors, with prices being cut to ensure that the country can compete with rival destinations.
"Spain apparently is offering very good value, because it is trying to compete with the competitors not in the euro, like Turkey and Egypt," Ms Tuke commented.
Holiday makers can arrange Costa Blanca villa accommodation in a number of popular resorts along the coast, such as Calpe, Javea and Moraira.
Ms Tuke recommended several other destinations for people planning an overseas break during the Easter and spring periods, including the Canary Islands, Greece and Florida.
