Costa Blanca holidays: Brits 'taking a sensible approach to travel plans'
British people have adopted a sensible approach to planning their Costa Blanca holidays and other breaks this year, a new survey has found.
Simonseeks, the online travel information portal, polled 600 of its regular users and found that 70 per cent will be seeking discounts of at least 25 per cent on their next break.
These respondents also said that they will be using their savings or a current account, rather than a credit card, to pay for their trip this year.
More than 50 per cent of the people surveyed said they would be willing to spend more than three days searching for a good deal.
Simon Nixon, founder of Simonseeks, said: "The results show us that Brits are online, on the ball and certainly not prepared to either pay full price or use credit to pay for this year's holiday."
Costa Blanca holidays could be the ideal option for families looking for an affordable getaway this year, with Simonseeks revealing that there are "bargains are to be had" in the Mediterranean region during school break periods.
