Costa Blanca holiday 'a bargain during winter'

Visiting the Costa Blanca for a holiday at this time of year has been identified as one of the travel industry's greatest bargains.

Skyscanner, naming its top deals of the week, states flights to Alicante from the UK for just £59 are a must for jet-setters.

It suggests the Costa Blanca is one of the best illustrations of why visiting a traditional sunshine break destination out of season can be an enjoyable and financially rewarding experience.

"A huge range of beaches and hotels are available sometimes at a fraction of the cost of the summer season and the temperature is still nicely up near 30 degrees C," the flights comparison portal notes.

Those looking to avoid the crowds and sweltering heat of summer could find a holiday on the Costa Blanca in January or February is more enjoyable.
