Costa Blanca 'has plenty of interesting properties'
Holiday makers booking up stays in villas in Costa Blanca may want to consider seeking out property while in the Spanish region.
Mark Stucklin, head of Spanish Property Insight, acknowledged that the region is one of the "most popular markets" for foreign buyers hoping to purchase a home abroad.
Property in Alicante and Costa del Sol are also in demand, Mr Stucklin added, with each region proving attractive as there are "really interesting prices" for some homes.
Explaining each region's appeal, the expert noted: "Consolidated areas that are well established with a good range of amenities and services will be the most interesting and will be where people are looking.
"They will be where people will want to buy."
For people just seeking out holidays abroad, travel writer Fred Mawer recently disclosed to the Daily Telegraph that Spain should prove attractive as day-to-day costs in the country are commonly lower than many other getaway hotspots across Europe.
