Cheap villas in the Costa Blanca come with 15,000 different birds
The bird population to the south of Alicante is thriving according to the regional department of the environment with nearly 15,000 species of birds to be found in the region.
According to Costa Blanca News, species such as white-headed ducks or marbled ducks have made their home in the wetland areas along with herons, waders and terns.
So a cheap villa in Costa Blanca may not be the only advantage to visiting the Spanish coast line this summer as keen bird watchers can take advantage of the many species on offer.
Small white-walled towns and sandy beaches are other factors that draw holiday makers to the Costa Blanca and walking in the region's spectacular scenery is a good way to see the countryside and perhaps some of the birds.
Holiday makers looking for a relaxing family villa holiday can also rest beside a private pool on their Costa Blanca holiday.
