British holiday makers targeted by Costa Blanca tourism bosses
Tourism chiefs on the Costa Blanca are aiming to show British travellers what awaits them should they book a holiday in the region on Spain's east coast.
The Provincial Patronage of Tourism and the Tourism Department of the Diputacion of Alicante have teamed up to launch a significant promotional campaign.
Bosses say they hope the project will have a great effect and see plenty of people rushing to book a holiday on the Costa Blanca.
One of the tactics employed by those behind it is to ensure maximum visibility, with travel stores, railway stations and streets all targeted with advertising material.
The posters set to be used could contain images of the location's picturesque beaches, entertainment facilities and warm climate - all of which are popular with visitors.
Fans of legendary band Guns N' Roses may wish to time their break in the region to coincide with the group's visit to eastern Spain later this month.
