Alicante film festival
Visitors to the event, which takes place in April, can see documentaries and new styles of film making as well as short films that are in the running for the competition.
Young people also have a chance to project their experiences by making their own films in an effort to introduce them to music, art, literature and poetry.
It also gives them an opportunity to display their work in their home city.
Alicante is also promoted as a city of art and culture and exhibitions by local artists such as Rafael Rodreiguez Urrusti, Joes Perez Gul and Javier Cayuelas are all included at the event.
Apart from enjoying the excellent culture on the Costa Blanca, holiday makers can also take advantage of warm temperatures and sunshine.
If art isn't enough to tempt you away from the relaxing villa then long walks into the countryside or a traditional Spanish meal of paella may do.
