Live in affordable luxury on a Costa Calida villa holiday
In an article for the Daily Mail, Brian Lee said it is easy to see why La Manga Club is a favourite holiday destination for some of the world's top footballers.
However, he pointed out that it is not necessary to be earning a footballer's wage to stay at the sporting holiday resort and enjoy its many amenities.
Mr Lee said La Manga Club boasts three championship golf courses set in beautiful surroundings with views that "take the breath away".
"The South Course has to be seen to be believed," he stressed.
In addition, there is also a floodlit driving range and a pitch and putt course where golfers can perfect their skills.
La Manga Club also has much to offer for non-golfers and the partners of those who play, Mr Lee pointed out.
The resort is home to 28 tennis courts, eight full size football pitches and two cricket grounds, as well as a spa, a number of swimming pools and a beach.
Those renting Costa Calida villas at La Manga Club could enjoy a day trip to the nearby town of Cabo de Palos to do some shopping for holiday souvenirs.
