Visit the Museum of Asian Art on a Corfu holiday

Found near the Esplanade in Corfu Town, the museum is a must-visit attraction for those holidaying on the island, according to insurer Essential.

It is described as a "beautiful neo-classical building", which is home to collection of eastern artwork from China and Japan.

"Chinese porcelain and paintings from many of the country's most significant dynasties are on display as well as ceramics, prints and sculpture from Japan," the site adds.

Holiday makers who wish to visit Corfu Town can hop in a hire car and head south from their villa in the north-east.

The north-eastern coastline of Corfu offers an authentic and traditional location, with many villas boasting beautiful views thanks to their hilltop setting.
