This small, tranquil coastal village is located just 15 minutes’ from the town of Quimperle, and 35 minutes from the city of Lorient with its wide variety of amenities and airport. A variety of local amenities can be found in Quimperle, and a market is held each Friday morning where local goods and produce are sold. Quimperle also boasts an attractive old quarter with winding streets and quaint buildings.

Dinan is well worth a visit, with a wonderfully preserved medieval centre, as well as a variety of shops, restaurants and other amenities. The beautiful walled port town of Saint Malo is also just a little further away offering a great place to wander around, or enjoy the great beaches – the town is also conveniently located if you are arriving by ferry from Portsmouth.

The village of Quistinic is set in the heart of the beautiful Morbihan region, and close by is the interesting and preserved village of Poul Fetan where you can see how life was in Brittany in the past and watch traditional artisans at work. Lorient is an attractive port and the impressive 2nd World War submarine stations should not be missed. In August the Interceltic Festival attracts visitors from around the world and as one of the bigger festivals in France. A little further away is the Port of Vannes at the head of the stunning 'Golfe du Morbihan,' an inland bay with many small islands, which can be visited by boat.

The pretty village of Baye sits in the Finistère region of Brittany, and is also close to the town of Quimperle with the beaches of south western Brittany close at hand. Baye makes a great base as some fascinating tourist attractions are close at hand, such as the megaliths at Carnac, the Lac de Guerlédan and the Châteaux de Kerguéhennec and Josselin. The major town of Nantes is a day trip away, with historic sights, restaurants and attractions for those wanting to see more of the local life.

Set beside an estuary not far from the Atlantic coast, the peaceful village of Belz offers a great place to relax. The picturesque town of Auray is just a 20 minute drive away where you will find a variety of local amenities. Lorient – the fourth largest city in Brittany – can also be reached within just a 35 minute drive away, offering a wide range of amenities and also an airport.

This small Breton village is quiet and typical of the region, however is only a short drive from the busy town of Lorient, a busy city with good shops, and also holds a Celtic festival every August. Some of the best beaches in Brittany are within easy reach including the Quiberon peninsula with its fascinating geography or Carnac, with its beaches and historic megaliths.

This pretty fishing port sits on the Finistere coast and is typical of the region, with a pretty inlet surrounded by the classical stone built houses with slate tiling that make up much of this region. For a true taste of Breton life Clohars Carnoet and other fishing villages nearby will give you a true taste of Northern French life.

Erquy is a bustling fishing village with a picturesque harbour. Here you can sit and watch the colourful fishing boats come and go throughout the day, or try the catch of the day in one of the selection of seafood restaurants nearby. A lively market takes place in the town on a Saturday morning, where you can purchase the fresh produce of the local area. Along the coastline near the town are 10 beautiful, sandy beaches where you can enjoy lazy days relaxing in the sunshine. A variety of watersports are on offer here. Erquy is the ideal choice for a relaxing and authentic villa holiday in Brittany.
Plomeur 1 1 hr 30 mins from Brest Time from airport
Situated on a dramatic stretch of coastline, beautiful Plomeur is well known for the nearby world-famous surfing beach of La Torche. Even if you are not a water sports enthusiast, take time to sit on the fine sands and stare in awe as the impressive Atlantic breakers roll in. Plomeur was first settled by humans thousands of years ago and is well located for exploring historic western Brittany, with the medieval towns of Quimper, Pont l’Abbe and Concarneau all within reach of your villa.

This charming seaside town is full of historical character and set amid magnificent green countryside. Boasting beautiful beaches of fine sand and rocky inlets, visitors are attracted by the array of water sports on offer, as well as opportunities for fishing, cycling and hiking in the local area. Plounéour-Trez has a number of shops as well as an excellent range of bars and restaurants for whiling away a warm summer evening.
Quiberon 1 1 hr 30 mins from Lorient Time from airport
Quiberon stands dramatically on a rocky peninsula jutting far out into the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Traditionally popular with French holidaymakers, the town is well known for its excellent sandy beach and the delicious local sardines served in its restaurants. The windswept eastern coast of the peninsula is popular with water sports enthusiasts whilst the sheltered main beach, ‘La Grande Plage’ is lined with a variety of bars, cafes and restaurants, perfect for laid-back days and easy-going evenings.
St. Evarzec 1 1 hr 30 mins from Lorient Time from airport
St Evarzec is a small, peaceful village 15 minutes drive from the bustling town of Quimper. The village is also within easy reach of the beautiful Breton coastline. Quimper offers a variety of local amenities, and is also a great place to simply spend a day out. The town boasts a relaxed pace of life, and there’s nothing better than relaxing on a sunny afternoon in one of the various pavement cafes. The medieval quarter offers some wonderful old stone buildings, and quaint cobbled streets to explore.
