Waterways 'could be the answer to Brittany exploration'

Brittany Tourism claims the area's waterways allows holiday makers to gain access to some of the "most beautiful countryside and architecture" in the region.

These include the medieval towns of Malestroit and Dinan, the quaint port of La Roche Bernard and the waterside chateau at Josselin.

Those who rent a villa in peaceful and relaxing Huenan will find that they are just five kilometres from Dinan and around an hour away from St Malo Port.

Meanwhile, holiday makers who follow the leisurely Ille et Rance canal can make their way from St Malo to the Breton capital of Rennes.

Huenan offers the ideal base to unwind in rural surroundings, while those who want to explore could follow the waterways and see where they lead them.
