Visit a magical and mystical medieval town in Brittany
Packed full of buildings that date back to the 13th and 14th century, the town is a history lesson in itself and visitors may need at least a day to take in its wealth of information.
Dinan is described by GLOBOsabiens.net as a "magical, sometimes mystical, well restored, well preserved, walled medieval town, complete with imposing ramparts, towers and a castle".
There is an impressive villa in the peaceful Le Gouray that provides the perfect starting point for an exploration of Brittany and the beauty of the Breton countryside.
Previously a farm that sat in the wonderful countryside, it has now been converted into a remarkable villa with a private pool to splash around in.
More water-based fun can be found to the north as the property is also ideally placed for those who wish to visit the eye-catching beaches found on France's north coast.
