Semaine du Golfe sails back to Brittany
Semaine du Golfe will hit the Gulf of Morbihan on May 18th and welcomes the return of the sailing season.
It announces the commencement of the season with prepared flotillas and a celebratory atmosphere spreads across 14 towns in Morbihan, which are all set in the beautiful natural surroundings of Brittany's south coast.
According to organizers the week is "an opportunity to experience an exceptionally dynamic shoulder-season festival in one of Brittany's most beautiful maritime settings".
A total of 505 boats have been registered for the festival as 68 of them will be arriving from other countries around the world.
Fans of ancient aquatic vessels may also be able to spy some classics, with almost 40 of the ships due to appear built before 1940.
