Sample snails at Festival Saint-Simon
The vast festival attracts more than 15,000 people every year to wander the town's array of stalls while hundreds of craftsmen display their intricate art work for villa holiday makers and locals alike, according to What's on When.
The website claims ceramicists, woodturners and even fashion designers make their pilgrimage to the town every year and visitors can watch them at work and sample gastronomic delights at hundreds of stalls.
Food stalls are reported to offer Breton food ranging from cheese to snails and visitors are urged to sample the traditional Breton Gateau, a rum-soaked apple pie.
Street performers, bands and musicians also line the streets to keep the crowds happy throughout the day.
With the festival running from October 22nd to October the 29th, those on a villa holiday that are staying in the idyllic location of Huenan will have plenty of time for some festival fun followed by a chance to sample the visual delights of the lush, green Breton outdoors.
