Get a real taste of Brittany at the Musee du Cidre

Found on the Crozon peninsula and open from April to September, the museum offers everything you need to know about cider making in the region.

According to Brittany Tourism, visitors can discover a centre that is "dedicated to cider making, from orchards to the traditional equipment used in Breton cider production".

Furthermore, the museum's gift shop gives you a chance to sample produce prepared "using traditional methods and discover and enjoy various local and regional delights".

All of this can be taken back to the peaceful village of Belz, which offers holiday makers the perfect opportunity to relax in peace and quiet and off the beaten track.

Those who stay in Belz may also like to visit the nearby picturesque town of Auray.
