Brittany villa holiday 'great for young children'
In an article for the Guardian, Chloe Bryan Brown included the French region in a list of the best summer holiday destinations for families.
She said Brittany's beautiful sandy beaches provide the perfect adventure playground for young children.
"With rock pools, shallow waters and acres of crepe-coloured sand, it's made for kicking footballs, hunting crabs, paddling and running, small child-style," she wrote.
A Brittany villa holiday in Erquy could be a good choice for those with young ones, as there are ten beaches stretched along the coastline near the town.
Adults can relax in the sunshine while children build sandcastles, catch fish and take part in numerous other beach activities.
There are also a range of watersports on offer for older children and active adults, while Erquy's picturesque harbour is a perfect place to sample some local seafood.
