Brittany 'making waves' on the golfing circuit

A total of 34 courses can be found across the region, which boasts stunning scenery, a pleasantly mild climate and clean sandy beaches.

According to Brittany Tourism, the number of courses, coupled with a European Challenge Tour event and an upcoming Brittany Golf Classic mean the region is "starting to make waves on the World Golfing circuit" - and you could see what all the fuss is about.

Notable courses around Brittany include the Pleneuf Val Andre course and Golf de Baden, the latter could be combined with a visit to the Gulf of Morbihan on the south coast of Brittany.

Holiday makers with a passion for putting could also play nine holes and tuck into an early lunch as Golf du Lac au Duc in the Broceliande Forest, before heading off for an afternoon round at Golf de Cice-Blossac.

With a Brittany villa and a hire car, there may be no end to the golfing delights on offer.
