Brittany holiday offers the chance do explore Batz Island
Batz Island, or Ile de Batz as it is known to the French, is blessed with both beauty and charm and could make the perfect day trip.
Boasting fine sandy beaches as well as harsh jagged rocks, the island is a breathtaking sight to behold.
Thanks to its microclimate, the island also enjoys an extraordinary exotic garden, which was created towards the end of the 19th century.
Bicycles are available for rent there, while it can also be discovered on foot or on horseback.
Other attractions on the island include its lighthouse, which sits 112 meters above sea level.
Legend has it that in the 6th century Paul Aurelien relieved Batz Island of a dragon that was terrorising its people, leaving just a stunning land that is waiting to be explored by those on a Brittany villa holiday.
