A Brittany holiday offers Celtic culture in Cornouaille
The tourist board state that Brittany was a separate country from France until 1532 and its people like to celebrate their Celtic culture just like the Celts do - with food, drink, architecture and music.
Taking place between July 18th and July 26th, the Cornouaille Festival entertains those on a Brittany holiday for a whole week and is one of the region's biggest cultural events.
Music, singing, dancing and storytelling mixes with gastronomic delights and exhibitions as Brittany's past entertain its future - and this year Sinead O'Connor is one the festival's star attractions.
Those staying in the calming costal village of Moelan Sur Mer will not find themselves far from the action, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and tranquillity that the village offers.
