Traditional Spanish cuisine is alive in Andalucia
One of the most famous festivals to celebrate Spain's food begins soon in Torrox on the Andalucian coast and holiday makers who love their food will not want to miss out.
Combining 2,000 kilograms of flour and 500 litres of olive oil makes migas and this traditional recipe is loved by all.
Breadcrumbs, olive oil and meat are cooked inside big cauldrons to make the peasant dish, migas, that traditionally makes a substantial meal.
Visitors heading to Torrox can experience the dish, which is often served with wine and ensaladilla, made in its natural environment.
The white-walled village of Torrox is a typical Spanish coastal town and alongside the traditional food visitors can experience the blue flag beaches and sunny climate.
Holiday makers can also visit the Roman city-factory of Caviclum which was excavated in 1905 when many thermal baths were dug up.
Garum, the basic fish sauce which was produced in the area, was also found among household objects and mosaics.
