Rail is the most rewarding way to experience Spain on a summer trip, according to the Independent.
The latest high-speed trains reportedly make it easier than ever to see the nation's highlights up close, offering a panoramic view of Spain's natural splendour for the relaxed traveller.
Several rail links a day connect Andalucia with Catalonia, notes the publication, while tourists can book a night train if they want to combine comfort, luxury and speed on their way to their Andalucia villa.
"Even if you do not plan to take a grand tour of the nation, the usually punctual and always good-value trains of Spain can prove handy for holidaymakers," the newspaper advises.
