Stay in an Andalucia villa for 'serenity'
According to the National Post, the rolling hills, orange groves and fig trees of the region provide a serene antidote to some of the less flattering cliches associated with the destination.
Travellers heading out on an Andalucia holiday should find that these assumptions are far from the whole truth, as they get the chance to taste fine local tapas and wine in an invitingly peaceful climate.
Staying in a villa, perhaps with a pool, can be one of the most delightful ways to experience the region, the report suggests.
"The great thing about the south of Spain, though, is that all the tourists congregate in the Costa del Sol, so it doesn't require much time, money or energy to get an authentic, naturally beautiful experience," it asserts.
Meanwhile, the Guardian last week suggested hiking in Granada as one option for Andalucia holiday makers.
