Seville 'a must-visit place' on an Andalucia villa holiday
In an article for Examiner.com, Marcus Wilder said Seville has a distinct personality that seems to embody Spain.
As well as boasting history and architecture, it is also brimming with artistic culture and is alive with the beat of flamenco.
Mr Wilder pointed out that the cathedral in Seville is the largest gothic building in Europe, while numerous Islamic influences can also be seen in the city.
Equestrianism is also important in Seville and tourists may hear of some horse-related events taking place during their visit.
Those hoping to spend some time in Seville could rent Andalucia villas in Torrox and travel to the city on a bus trip or by car.
Torrox is around 40 minutes from Malaga, where more cultural and historical gems can be found, including Moorish ruins.
