Martin Evans, of marketing agency The Tourism Business, has commented on the growing popularity of film-inspired trips abroad, in news that may be of interest to people planning an Andalucia holiday.
Andalucia.com notes that the region has been the site of a number of silver screen projects over the years, including Lawrence of Arabia, Cleopatra and Die Another Day, the James Bond outing featuring Pierce Brosnan in the title role.
The location also produced one of the film world's most mesmerising stars - Antonio Banderas, who filmed El Camino de los Ingleses in his homeland and is planning to film his next project, Malaga In Flames, in the historic centre.
Mr Evans commented: "There are many UK and international destinations to visit and as more films and TV programmes are made, the list of screen tourism destinations gets longer."
