Make a splash in Mijas on an Aldalucia villa holiday
The Parque Acuatico Mijas is home to numerous slides, pools and watery attractions suitable for all ages.
It is open every day throughout the summer until October and there are a number of discounts and offers available.
Attractions include the Adventure River, which is a 40-metre toboggan slide with plenty of curves to keep riders guessing.
The Body Ski and the Labyrinth Slides are bound to be family favourites and for thrill seekers there is the Kamikaze.
Children will also find plenty to keep them entertained on Lizard Island and the Kiddie Slides area, while parents who simply want to sit back and relax can do so beside the Blue Lake.
Holiday makers renting Aldalucia villas in Torrox could head to Mijas for the day to enjoy the entertainiment at the Parque Acuatico.
Torrox is also close to the city of Malaga, which could make an excellent day trip.
In a recent article for the Telegraph, travel journalist Natalie Paris said the city was an "overlooked treasure" that should not be missed by tourists.
