Head to the Malaga Fair on an Andalucia villa holiday
According to the official tourism portal for Andalucia, the event dates back 500 years and brings holiday makers and locals together in the city.
This year it is due to take place between August 14th and 23rd, so those enjoying a break in the region at the time should prepare themselves for some lively music and dancing.
The fair combines the traditional with the modern, so in addition to flamenco and Spanish folk music there will also be plenty of pop.
Revellers will gather to listen to the performances and drink sweet wine and rebujito - sherry mixed with lemonade.
The resort of Nerja is just 45 minutes from Malaga, so families hoping to attend the summer fair celebrations could rent an Andalucia villa here.
It is also close to the famous Cuevas de Nerja, where tourists can see some fascinating prehistoric cave paintings.
