Enter the world of Picasso on an Andalucia villa holiday
Opened in 2003, the attraction is home to several classic Picasso works and some that visitors may never have seen before.
The Spanish artist, who is credited with co-founding the Cubist movement, was born in the city of Malaga in 1881.
His works are instantly recognisable and as well as paintings, he also created a number of sketches and sculptures. Holiday makers can see some of these during their visit.
A day trip to the Picasso Museum is a must for art lovers, who may wish to book an Andalucia villa in Torrox in order to be close by. Malaga is just 40 minutes away by car.
Torrox itself is a quiet village with a few bars and a local market, although families looking for a little more activity can head down the coast to the Torrox Costa, where the promenade is lined with amenities.
