The Post Office suggests that Andalucia villa holiday makers can save while they bathe in the grounds of their villa, as fuel prices in Spain are among the lowest in the eurozone.
Diesel fuel vehicle and hire car drivers may be interested to learn that Spain was found to be the best value country of all 12 surveyed, with the nation of sandy beaches and sangria also named the cheapest for unleaded petrol.
The cost of loading up an engine in Spain is some 30 per cent lower than the price of doing so in the Netherlands or Belgium, research from the organisation found.
According to Lonely Planet, an Andalucia villa holiday may introduce travellers to an intriguing land whose culture is tinged with both Islamic and European influences.
"You can party, hike, sunbathe and sightsee: it's no wonder Andalucia is such a heart-stealer," the travel guide firm's website observes.
