Celebrate 'Tourist Day' in Andalucia
Taking place on September 4th, the Dia del Turista, or Tourist Day, is a celebration of tourism and a 'thank you' to all those who take holidays in the area.
Holiday makers attending the event will be entertained by street parades, musical performances, dancing and evening shows, with the action taking place in the resort centre and in the beaches of La Carihuela, Playamar and Bajondillo.
Visitors will also be offered the chance to sample local cuisine, fresh seafood and traditional sangria for free, with the culinary highlight promising to be the "giant paella" which is served on the beach.
Those enjoying a family villa holiday in Andalucia will find not shortage of events to keep them occupied.
Also taking place over the coming months is the Pedro Romero Fair, Nerja Feria and the Migas Festival.
