Andalucia villa holidays to 'get even better'
The city is already home to the Picasso Museum and Museum of Contemporary Art - which will both be enlarged under the investment scheme - so the plans could help Malaga become a magnet for culture vultures.
According to TravelWeekly, a new terminal will also be added to Pablo Picasso airport in 2009, with a new runway built the following year.
Significant development will take place on the city's waterfront to tempt Andalucia villa holiday makers to the city away from their private pool in Torrox.
The news site suggests that a new harbour terminal will also be developed so tourists can gaze at the new cruise liners that are being attracted to the port.
Guest staying in Torrox can take advantage of its extensive coastline and beach, while from their villa they are treated to magnificent views over the mountains and sea.
