Andalucia villa holiday to get 'even better'
It has been claimed that Spanish tourism authorities are planning to promote southern Spain as a city-break destination that is perfect for villa holidays.
So far developments include a new terminal and runway at the Pablo Picasso airport, which is expected to be completed by 2010, while the Picasso Museum will also be extended.
Cultural advancements also include a shiny new opera house to delight locals and tourists alike in 2011.
The port area in the city will also be regenerated and a new harbour terminal will be fashioned to attract large cruise liners to dock at Malaga.
Those who wish to stay in a rural retreat may elect to rent a villa in Torrox Pueblo, which allows holiday makers to relax off the beaten track among stunning views but is also ideally located to explore the delights of the whole region in their hire car.
