Andalucia holidays 'ideal for riding'
Real estate lawyer Simon Hardwick told the Times that his passion for horses comes into its own when he is riding in the Andalucia mountains with his family.
Mr Hardwick's wife, Sally and daughter, Alex are both keen riders and compete in a number of events, making an Andalucia holiday an ideal break the whole family can enjoy together,
"We've had some wonderful times riding in the mountains of Andalucia," he told the publication.
"You can get to places that no one else can get to. They're too far to walk to and inaccessible to cars. But incredibly beautiful."
Meanwhile, a recent article in Scotland on Sunday suggested a number of ways in which non-riders may be able to enjoy Andalucia holidays.
The Castillo de la Estrella in the town of Teba holds special significance for UK tourists, as its castle was won by King Alfonso XI in 1330 with the help of James Douglas, a Scot.
