Andalucia holidays 'could be that vital bit closer'

Holiday makers missing the opportunity to fly to Malaga from Norwich International Airport will be pleased to learn that the hub is in talks to reintroduce the popular route, reports the Norwich Evening News.

As one of the sun routes, a flight to Malaga from Norwich can transport visitors to one of the key destinations on an Andalucia holiday.

Trips to Malaga are certainly popular among Brits - when the airport was forced to suspend the trip and another sun route, visitor numbers reportedly dropped from 789,000 to 690,000.

According to Andalucia.com, the city is looking forward to its year as European Capital of Culture in 2016.

Highlights of an Andalucia holiday are said by the site to include the Picasso Museum and the Alcazaba fortress, which dates back to 1065 and is now accompanied by an archaeological museum.
