A jolly to Gibraltar could 'guarantee' a cheap Andalucia holiday
By combining the outing with the renting of a cheap villa, hard-up holiday makers can ease concerns about the credit crunch.
Gibraltar boasts tax-free shopping and those who leave the comfy confines of their private villa may choose to do so on a Saturday to drive down to the southernmost tip of Spain.
Every Saturday, an exhibition of work by local artists is on show at the Fine Arts Association from 11.30am to 14.00 pm, while a historical re-enactment parade marches down Main Street up to Casemates Square at 12 noon, according to Andalucia.com.
Most of the iconic Rock of Gibraltar is a nature reserve that is home to hundreds of Barbary Macaques - the only wild primates found in the whole of Europe.
