'May Day magic' in Malaga
According to flight search engine Skyscanner, Malaga's "perfect" temperatures ensure May Day is an ideal time to visit Malaga and take advantage of its beautiful beaches.
While there, holiday makers are urged to visit a chiringuitos - which is a restaurant and bar by the side of the beach - and sample some traditional Malagan specialties.
One of the delicacies they could try is espetos - fresh sardines grilled over huge beds of charcoal - while those who are partial to a tipple could wash it down with a glass of tinto de verano, a thirst-quenching drink similar to sangria.
Anyone renting a villa in the stunning Spanish region of Nerja is just 45 minutes drive from Malaga, so they could hop into their hire car and take a trip to Malaga.
On another day they could also visit the famous prehistoric Cuevas de Nerja to marvel at the world's longest stalactites.
