'Make like a Spaniard' with an Andalucia holiday
The Guardian has suggested that an Andalucia holiday on the Costa Tropical is the vacation of choice for many native residents of Spain.
According to the publication, the area "remains resolutely Spanish", with Almunecar suggested as a potential location of interest.
The resort features two large bays and an old town with a good atmosphere, notes the publication.
However, the newspaper recommends Almunecar as "more of a place to visit for beach days and tapas-themed evenings, rather than stay".
As such, Andalucia holiday makers may wish to consider a villa in Costa Tropical resort Cantarrija, which is situated in a national park area offering views across the Spanish countryside and towards the ocean.
Recently released figures from the Ministry for Industry, Tourism and Commerce Spain found that Andalucia holidays were the third most popular choice for people visiting the country, with Brits particularly appreciative of the destination.
