'Be drawn to San Isidro' on an Andalucia holiday
On May 15th, all over Andalucia anyone on a villa holiday will be able to join in the festivities as the patron saint of the farmers is celebrated.
On this day, many villages mark the big day with a procession through the lush fields and a fiesta, while agricultural trade shows can be found all across the region.
"A fine place to attend this charming festival is the rural town of Montefrio, in Granada or Estepona," says Andalucia.com.
Famous for divining water, San Isidro now attracts locals and holiday makers to Andalucia like a divining rod - and you could be there to watch the festivities.
Those staying in a villa in the beautiful Frigiliani - in the foothills of the Sierra de Tejeda mountains - could take in the celebrations in Montefrio, before returning to watch the sun go down.
