"We loved this villa - our son didn't want to leave and now wants the same pool in our garden! The view was beautiful and the peace and quite really lovely."

"It is clear that the owners take pleasure in this villa and have invested a lot of their time, money and effort into making it such a special place. Everything about it has quality, from the kitchen utensils to the woodwork. We have recommended this villa to friends and hope to return next year. Let me add that after a previous visit to this villa, I made a suggestion via this survey of an improvement that could be made to the villa. To my very pleasant surprise, my comments were listened to and the improvement implemented. It is delightful that the owners pay such close attention to their guests comments."

"Loved the pond and pool water features which were on timers also the pool lights.This villa really was the "Best of James". The location was superb and the radio sound system was great-it was nice to have some background music. We found the directions to villa easy to follow and would come here again."

"We had a great stay at El Abrevadero, a week just wasn't enough! The location was fantastic with beautiful scenery. The villa was of a very high standard and well equiped. "Villa was excellent everything as excepted from James villas. Would have been totally peaceful apart from nearby dogs barking. This is one villa I would love to visit again. Both myself and my Wife were insured to drive the hire car but because of the condition of the road and location of the villa she did not feel confident enough to do this. "The villa was truly lovely! No clatter. Furnished with charm and simplicity. Attention to detail with beautiful rustic finishes. A true Andalucian feel. Very impressed! Gardens glorious with funky seating in the walls. Lovely steps down to the pool. Pool much too cold to swim in, but again beautiful to look at with little rocky waterfall. Surrounding countryside absolutely stunning! Beautiful birdlife. Goats and goat herder passing the cortijo some evenings making the whole holiday seem a real Andalucian experience."

"Only complaint was that there was no waterproof covered area outside to sit under when it rained. The cane awning at the front of the villa was not suitable for rainy days. We would suggest either a waterproof cover on the awning or the provision of a large table umbrella. Otherwise, great!"

"Hi "James"!! I would like to thank you so much for arranging such a beautiful holiday for us at Casa Paqui in Frigiliana. It was so tranquil and restful,we did not want to leave!! I would also like to thank all of the James team for the very professional way they conducted themselves throughout, nothing was to much trouble. This is the second time we have entrusted our holiday's to you (Cyprus 2004) and would have no hesitation in continuing to do so."

"Only comment or suggestion - We were advised to upgrade our car from the one provided with the booking by the rental company. This turned out to be good advice as access to the villa is very steep and rugged. We enjoyed the holiday very much and were sad to leave La Era. Even the villa owner visited use on a couple of occasions, one of his visits after a thunder storm to check that everything was OK."

"it would have been good to have had some basic essentials already at the villa, so we did not have to buy them, eg loo rolls and bin liners! we really enjoyed the villa and holiday overall, and foundthe staff very helpful with our queries before departure."

"The Villa was very remote and the roads leading up to the Villa from the main road were very basic (track). The Villa itself was very basic in terms of comfort. It was also cold and no form of heating provided. However, in terms of complete relaxation and quiet, it was ideal. Not for the elderly or infirm. Other James Villas have been fine and are a credit to whoever chooses them."
