Visit a pop-up restaurant on an Algarve holiday

There will be some memorable culinary experiences on offer to people taking Algarve villa holidays this summer when a luxury trend arrives in the region.

The 2010 Pop-Up Restaurant festival will feature three events in the Vale do Lobo resort on August 4th, 11th and 18th.

Four of the best chefs in the Algarve will be taking part, providing some of the finest cuisine available in Portugal, according to organisers.

Jaime Perez will get the series underway, followed by Emmanuel Soares and Hans Neuner.

Holiday makers planning to attend one of the events during an Algarve villa break will be treated to a range of gastronomic experiences in the sculpture garden at Vale do Lobo's Parque do Golfe.

The festival will be hosted by Jonnie Pratt, who is described as "Almancil's very own celebrity chef".

Travellers staying in villas in Albufeira, Monte Santo and other popular locations in the Algarve can visit local restaurants and cafes during their stay to sample some regional cuisine.
