Visit 10-year-old Lagos Zoo on an Algarve villa holiday
Holiday makers planning an Algarve villa break this summer will have the opportunity to visit Lagos Zoo as the attraction marks its tenth anniversary.
Celebrations of the milestone have already begun with the unveiling of a new green and blue logo.
The image has been designed to represent the "warm, friendly and interactive nature" of Lagos Zoo, the Algarve Resident reported.
People planning to visit the attraction during an Algarve villa holiday will be able to see the new logo within the zoo and also on advertising billboards, brochures and other promotional material.
Lagos Zoo is home to a large and varied population of wildlife, including mammal species such as the European lynx, the Patagonian hare, the wallaby, the squirrel monkey and the ring-tailed lemur.
Visitors can also see plenty of reptiles, birds and other types of animal at the attraction.
Lagos is a city and municipality located at the mouth of the Bensafrim river in southern Portugal.
Algarve villa guests can visit a number of popular sites in the region, such as the town of Silves and the historic village of Monchique.
