Grab yourself a late deal >Villa holidays 'being enjoyed by many kids today'
Holidays abroad, perhaps within villas in the Algarve, are being enjoyed by the majority of children today.
In fact, 94 per cent of Brits aged 16 years old of younger have said that they have taken a trip to an overseas country during their short lifetime, according to new research by Aviva Travel Insurance.
This is a significant rise compared to 39 per cent of adults who said that they were able to have the same trips when they during their childhood.
Other findings included 73 per cent of kids saying that they have enjoyed taking a venture to Europe, such as to Algarve villas, while 62 per cent travel abroad at least once annually.
Jerry Finch, Aviva's travel insurance product manager, noted: "It is often said that the world is getting smaller and nowhere is the huge increase in the extent of our travel more apparent than the distances and range of places that people have been to before the age of 16."
There are plenty of reasons why families should jet off to Algarve villas, with an array of things to see and do around such resorts as Quarteira and Lagos.
