Tourists urged to snap up flights for Algarve holiday

People searching for somewhere to sun themselves this winter may be wise to book flights with Monarch and enjoy a holiday in the Algarve.

The Daily Telegraph notes one of the offers currently available from the carrier is one of its Deals of the Day.

According to the newspaper, Monarch is only charging passengers for tax and fares on a number of seats between the UK and Portugal over the coming months.

This means, in many cases, people do not have to pay the booking fee, while there are even free seats on offer.

The deal also applies to Spain, meaning people could instead opt for a Costa Blanca holiday and still benefit from the incentive.

Holiday makers should be aware the flights must be taken between November 1st and January 31st and booked by midnight on Thursday (October 21st).

Turismo De Portugal recently promised to give attendees at a function at London's Excel Centre on November 8th a taste of the Algarve by cooking up some tasty local delicacies.
