Stay active when in Algarve villas
Brits looking for a quick getaway may want to book last-minute flights to Algarve villas if they are also hoping to keep their fitness in check while abroad.
Activity Algarve Bike Rides is presenting a series of fun-filled cycling journeys for holiday makers to enjoy while in the popular Portuguese destination.
People who arrive in the Algarve in time for Saturday (October 1st), for example, will be able to take part in a trip commencing in Paderne, which takes in a series of dirt tracks and tarmac routes.
The next day, athletic Brits can choose to sample the surrounding sights of Vilamoura or Alcantarilha while on two wheels, before Activity Algarve Bike Rides arranges another cycle route around Quinta do Lago on October 5th.
Families snapping up villas in the Algarve who are hoping to stay active may also be interested to hear of plans to improve the Via Algarviana route, otherwise known as The Algarve Way.
According to the Lusa News Agency, the 300km route is to receive new signs and a series of fresh tracks to venture along.
