See Bon Jovi world tour climax on holiday in Algarve

Bon Jovi fans may have an extra incentive to choose a holiday in the Algarve as their summer break in 2011, after the group confirmed it is to head to Portugal.

The American band will perform hits such as It's My Life, Living on a Prayer and Always to supporters in the capital city, Lisbon, on July 31st next year.

By taking a week or two in the Algarve at this time, those with a fondness for Bon Jovi may find they are perfectly placed to travel north and witness their heroes in action.

The gig in Portugal marks the end of 22 European dates throughout June and July, which follow a series of North American performances as part of the group's global excursion.

Leigh Mencarini, author of a piece for the Wokingham Times, this week suggested the western part of the Algarve is a beautiful place to stay, describing it as sleek and stylish.
