New esplanade project set for the Algarve
Families taking up a stay in villas in the Algarve could soon be able to take in new sights if they base their stay around Lagos.
The popular Portuguese resort is set to have an esplanade project developed, which could be underway as soon as next summer, according to The Portugal News.
FUTURLAGOS, a municipal firm based in Lagos, has sent out a public tender so that the new strategy can be constructed around the central region of the resort.
If developed, people snapping up Algarve villas in Lagos will have the chance to take in four pavilions, each of which will have bars and cafes located on them.
The project, which is set to cost an estimated €1.5 million (£1.28 million), will also make space in the resort for exhibitions, shows and other entertainment extravaganzas to take place.
For those taking last-minute flights to the Algarve, they may be interested in heading to Vale do Lobo's 3 Charities Christmas Market on December 3rd and 4th.
