Nature delights available to witness on holidays in the Algarve
Nature lovers have the chance to witness dazzling sights if they head to villas in the Algarve in the months ahead.
A trip to the Reserva Natural do Sapal in the east of the popular Portuguese destination will allow families to glimpse hundreds of eye-catching birds.
Throughout the winter months, an estimated 150 species of the animals make their way to the nature reserve, which can be found on the eastern coast of the Algarve.
A variety of flamingos are set to make their temporary home at the Reserva Natural do Sapal until next April alone.
People have the chance to see the natural sights either by travelling past the 2,000 square kilometre venue on foot, on bicycles or via boat.
Sports fans are also in for a treat if they head to Algarve villas during 2012, seeing as though the Portuguese hotspot is to be host of the well-regarded 15th International Golf Travel Market between November 12th and 15th.
