People planning Algarve villa holidays this summer might be interested in trying out a new kart track in Portimao.
The Algarve International Karting circuit is set to have its full opening on July 3rd and 4th.
A national championship kart race has been organised for the weekend to celebrate the launch, the Algarve Resident reports.
The venue will serve as a track for national and international competitions, as well as amateur races and days out for members of the public who want to hire go-karts for fun.
People who visit the new attraction during an Algarve villa holiday will be able to make use of three lanes that will be running at the same time, as well as an extra course for children up to six years old.
There will also be a range of facilities for visitors, including a restaurant and shops.
Sports fans planning an Algarve villa break this year will also have the opportunity to attend a number of spectator events in the region, including a World Touring Car Championship race in Portimao from July 2nd to 4th.
