Head to Algarve villas to see duo of festivals

Holiday makers who are planning their summer getaway may want to check out Algarve villas for two appealing festivals.

The Portuguese hot spot will be the location of two attractions that is sure to be a joy for all members of a family.

For one, there is Festival Med, which will be entertaining those in the Algarve resort of Loule between the dates of June 22nd and 25th.

Brits who head along to this event after snapping up holiday villas in the region will be treated to an array of music, arts and dance, all with a Mediterranean touch.

Some of the guests in past editions of Festival Med have represented such countries as Greece, Italy, Spain and of course Portugal itself.

Meanwhile, tourists heading to villas in the Algarve in August are sure to be entertained if they take a look at the treats on offer at Festival do Marisco.

The event has a basis around seafood, with a wealth of juicy recipes being cooked up and presented on stalls across the resort of Jardim do Pescador Olhanense.
