Golfing holidays in the Algarve 'to get even better'

Oceanico has officially opened two of its two championship golf courses at the Amendoeira Golf Resort in central Algarve - one designed by Nick Faldo and the other by Christy O'Connor Jnr.

Christy O'Connor Jnr is the nephew of Irish golfing legend Christy O'Connor and his uncle has got nothing but praise for the course he designed.

"I have been around a long time and have travelled the world playing golf, but I can honestly say I have experienced nothing to match this – the clubhouse is better than anything I have ever seen," he claimed, suggesting the course would become a golfing landmark.
